Google Sketchup is a powerful and easy to learn 3D modeling program and best of all it is 100% free. Students n Grade 7 are given creative freedom to design any building they can come up with whether it be a beach house or a castle in the side of a mountain. In Grade 8 students are expected to come with a product design improving upon something already in existence like making a new iPhone or creating a completely new product.
