About me

Kia Ora!

My name is Mr. Van Caeyzeele and I am the Graphic Design teacher At Stanley Knowles School. I am a graduate of the University of Winnipeg/Red River College – Industrial Arts/Technology Education Program. I have taught Woodworking, Electronics and now Graphic Design. One of my favourite designers is Jamie Hewlett who has worked with the Gorillaz to create the famous artificial characters that make up the band.

During 2010/2011 I spent a year traveling and teaching in New Zealand. During that time I also traveled throughout Southeast Asia including Cambodia, Vietnam, and Laos.

I am an active SCUBA diver and have dove all over the world and done many different types of diving from ice diving in West Hawk Lake to shark feeds on the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.

Throughout university I spent my spare time dabbling in pyrotechnics with Archangel Fireworks Inc. eventually becoming a full-time employee during the spring and summer months. I have represented Canada at the Sherbrooke national fireworks competition (Fet du lac des nations) and the HSBC Celebration of Light in Vancouver British Columbia. I am still an active member of the Archangel team working on shows as they arise.
